Clay is my passion. I feel extremely lucky to have discovered this medium and have been on a never-ending journey since. After being a painter for many years, the three-dimensional world has become both a learning experience and a challenge I thrive on.

 

Although I design some functional pieces, the nature of my work lies with the whimsical, and the figurative.  My intent is to convey a theme with the simplest of lines possible.

 
Growing up in Scotland, I was part of a family that was rich in humor and this is what I strive to express in the body of my work. Nothing pleases me more when I observe someone look at my work and a smile crosses his or her face.

As well as my work being artistically pleasing, it is important to me that my pieces serve as an expression of the personality of their owners.
